  Cecchetti examinations will be June 21st-June 23rd

  *Recommended for all dancers Ages 9 and Up and required for those to wear pointe shoes

In observance of Good Friday, there will be no scheduled classes.

Spring Break: No Classes March 11th-17th, 2024. There will be no scheduled classes during the week of Spring Break. Classes resume on Monday March 18th, 2024.

In observance of the Thanksgiving holiday week, the BCDC will be closed from November 20th-25th, 2023.

On Halloween, Tuesday October 31st, 2023 the BCDC will be closed. No Classes.

On Friday October 27th, 2023 the BCDC will present the Great Pumpkin Patch Party 5:30pm-6:15pm for students 4-8 years old and The Pumpkin Ball for students 9 and up from 6:30pm-8pm. Halloween Fun for all! Candy, refreshments and costume parades and contests. Prizes too!

Students who passed their Cecchetti method ballet exams this past June, 2023, will receive their certificates. Parents and families are invited to this presentation. Approximate length will be from 10am-10:20am.

The BCDC 40th Anniversary Student Dance Concert will be presented on Tuesday May 16th, 2023 7pm, at Florida Southern College Branscomb Auditorium Theatre in Lakeland, Florida. Reserved tickets will be available online on April 30th, 2023 6pm EDT. Go to BCDCdance.com, on homepage select Tickets from the menu.

The BCDC will offer its Cecchetti Ballet Summer Intensive from May 30th-June 25th, 2023. The Cecchetti Method of ballet is an internationally renown method of teaching classical ballet. Class levels and times are to be determined. BCDC Cecchetti summer flyers will be available in March 2023.

There will be no regular classes during the BCDC Spring Break, March 13th-18th, 2023. Classes will resume on Monday March 20th, 2023.

The BCDC will be closed for the Holiday Winter Break. No classes December 19th, 2022 through January 8th, 2023. Classes will resume on Monday January 9th, 2023.

The Ballet Conservatory Dance Centre will be closed on Tuesday Sept. 27th, Wednesday 28th, and Thursday 29th. Should hurricane Ian pass, and the BCDC has power, Classes will resume on Friday September 30th, 2022. Visit our website for updates:

Online late registration is in progress! On the Homepage click Pre-Registration, fill out the form and send. After processing and reviewing your application, you will receive a Student Registration fee Invoice ( pay Online). Once your registration payment is accepted your class placement will be secured. If the class/es that you selected are full, no invoice will be sent. You will have the option of being placed on a student waiting list. You may also call the BCDC office. If you receive the answering service, leave your name, phone number and best time to be reached. The school director will return your call.

BCDC Fall 2022-23 classes begin Monday August 29th, 2022. All Students must attend BCDC registration on August 11th and 12th , 4-6pm! Online Pre-Registration is now in progress.

The BCDC will be offering the 2022 Summer Cecchetti Ballet Technique Intensive, June 1st-June 26th.

This special course is for students ages 8 and up. Please register before May 15th, 2022. Registration forms are available at the BCDC registration desk.

The BCDC will present its 39th anniversary Student Dance Concert on Friday May 27th, 2022, 7pm and Saturday May 28th, 2pm at the Polk State College Fine Arts Theatre in Winter Haven, Florida.

Reserved tickets will go on sale Online on Saturday May 14th, 2022 at 5pm EDT.

The BCDC will be closed for Spring Break, March 21st-26th, 2022. Classes will resume Monday March 28th, 2022.

Pre-registration for the BCDC’s Fall enrollment will commence April 1st, 2022. You can either pre-register online or drop by the BCDC front desk to fill out an enrollment form.

The BCDC will be closed for the Winter Holidays; December 20th, 2021—January 9th, 2022.

Classes will resume on Monday January 10th, 2022! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year 2022!

Online Registration for Fall 2021-22 Classes is now in progress. Continuing BCDC students may register online or in person. To assure class placement, Pre-register online .Pre-registration fee: $50 Siblings $25. This fee will apply to a student's annual registration fee when you finalize your fall enrollment either at in person.

This year, the BCDC’s Student Dance Concert will be presented virtually via pre-recorded Video On Demand! Video on demand tickets go on sale May 1st, 2021 6pm EDT.

No BCDC classes March 22-27, 2021 Classes Resume Monday March 29th, 2021

     The current statistics indicate a steady rise in Florida’s Covid-19 positivity rate. Polk county is experiencing some of the highest cases and deaths in the state and is currently at a Red Alert level for a massive outbreak; the positivity rate in Polk is 15% and rising. The positivity rate is expected to reach higher levels in the next two weeks. The new, and more infectious Covid-19 strain has now been identified in Florida and is destined to overwhelm our already pressed medical facilities and hospitals. The Ballet Conservatory Dance Centre directors, are greatly concerned for the health and safety of its students, families and faculty. Therefore, the school directors have decided to keep the BCDC closed until the end of January, 2021. We feel that this closure for an additional three weeks can help to slow the infection rate and lessen the severity of high risks to our patrons and faculty. There will be no January 2021 tuition fees!

Classes will resume on Monday February 1st, 2021.

      Plans for our Spring Dance performances are underway! In the next couple of weeks while classes are on hold, the BCDC will be providing its students and families with video links to enlighten everyone about the exciting Spring performances.  Let’s all practice safe and proven virus mitigation protocols; Masks, Social distancing and lots of handwashing!

The BCDC will be closed for Thanksgiving Break November 23rd-28th, 2020. Classes resume Monday November 30th, 2020.
